Honeymooning Until Happy Apartment Time

WE SIGNED A LEASE FOR AN APARTMENT!!!!


This was back in December. Or maybe November? Meh. Well, the apartments were getting finished at the time. The lady at the Office- Martha- told us they will be ready the 2nd of January for us to move in. When we signed the lease we were told we'd move in that date. We were sooo excited!!
Then Martha calls us and tells bus the apartments aren't ready yet- but they'd be done for sure the 15th of January. That was a BIG bummer. We were all packed and everything. Frankly, it was such a pain that they told us something and didnt keep up with thier word. We fumed for a while and then figured that this happens and its better that we dont move in with the construction half way and appliences not working. So we say alrigt.

School started Monday the 12th. It was PURE CHAOS. I am still trying to find a job and didnt know what classes to choose cuz you never know which shift you might end up with. So i finally decided on two classes at night- one that starts at 7 and one that starts at 5:30. And both with Blake :)
Well that school week was supposed to be the week we were gonna move into our apartment. SUPPOSIBLY.

On thursday the 15th we go see our apartment. Its GORGEOUS! Another lady that works in the office named Leah told us she couldnt give us the key cuz there was a fire alarm failure and the inspector needed to wait to pass them off and whatnot. She said she'd give them to us the following day. We were fine with that! In the meantime on thursday we decided to take all our food and put it away in the cupboars, also to clean up a bit and check the apt out.
The next day Blake texted me and told me Martha said they weren't passed off by the inspector and they dont have the permit for ppl to move into the apartments AND wouldn't know if they would get passed until TUESDAY THE 20TH. OH MY FREAKING GOSH!

Yeah we were pissed.

But at least they are paying for a sweet hotel until tuesday :) and if the inspector doesnt give them the permit tuesday they'll keep us at the aparment (that has a kitchen, a living room and a laundry facility!) until we can move in.
So we're having another type of honeymoon right now :D Blake calls it a crescent moon cuz we still have to do everyday things. We have school thursday and Blake works. I am still trying to find a job. And yeah..

Im gonna post pictures of the hotel, but ill do it later because i just exercised and now im starving. When we move in, ill put pictures of the apartment.
